JTHR is officially open for the 2010 season!!!!!!! And what a beautiful day it's been! The birds are chirping, the loons are calling, and the squirrels are chattering. This Saturday is opening fishing weekend for pike and the weather forcast is 70s and sunny! We headed down to the beach today to do some raking (the water is still chilly) and saw a flock of about 30 pelicans swimming by the sand bar across the resort bay. Now is the perfect time to see birds migrating through. Just a few others we've noticed are the Canadian geese, wood ducks and a bunch of bluejays that hung around our feeders for a few days.
