Minnesotans favorite bird is back!

 

The first loon call on Jack-The-Horse Lake was April 22nd! The loon is Minnesota's State Bird. The Minnesota Deptartment of Natural Resources uses volunteers every July to collect loon numbers on over 600 lakes!
